The Sergeant Major (Three Five Eight) card game is a well-established classic that offers both solo and multiplayer experiences. Players have the option to engage with intelligent bots or connect with thousands of online participants, making it an accessible choice for both competitive and casual play. A noteworthy feature is its interactive tutorial, which assists newcomers without requiring any form of registration.

This application delivers an authentic rendition of the 3-player trick-taking game. Utilizing a standard 52-card deck, each participant is dealt 16 cards, while an additional four cards form the "kitty." The ultimate goal is to collect tricks, with a player winning upon achieving 12 or more tricks in a single round. Each player has predefined targets: the dealer at 8 tricks, the player to the left at 5 tricks, and the player to the right at 3 tricks.

Upon commencement, the dealer selects a trump suit and discards four cards to claim the kitty. The player to the left of the dealer initiates the first trick, with subsequent players following suit. In instances where a trump card isn't played, the highest card from the lead suit secures the trick. Once all cards are played, players adjust their hand by exchanging cards based on their performance relative to their targets. The dealer then announces the trump suit again and retrieves cards from the kitty.
